Experience an introduction to the Thai festival of Loy Krathong at this family-friendly gathering! Celebrated by on the full moon night of the twelfth month of the Thai lunar calendar, Loy Krathong is an occasion for joy, gratitude, and new beginnings. Join other AAPI Montclair families in Yantacaw Brook Park to enjoy Thai food and create earth-friendly, biodegradable krathong using bread, flowers, and leaves. We'll also learn about Loy Krathong through a read-aloud and coloring activity. Event will be held rain or shine. Exact meeting location will be emailed to registrants.
